Balakrishna receives notice from High Court

Nandamuri Balakrishna who is currently very much busy with the shooting of his next film in the direction of Puri Jagannadh, has scored his career’s biggest hit in the form of Gautamiputra Satakarni during Sankranthi 2017.

The movie which is all about the warrior king Gautamiputra Satakarni, has been given tax exemption in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Balakrishna personally met the Chief Ministers of AP and Telangana to thank them for their gesture towards Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Meanwhile, a PIL has been filed against Balakrishna in High Court and Balakrishna has been asked to file a counter before two weeks. The pill reads that the amount that has been saved from tax exemption should be given back to the audiences.  Rudhramadevi director and producer Gunasekhar too received the notices and the film too has been exempted from tax.

First Frame Entertainments bankrolled Gautamiputra Satakarni. The makers have officially not confirmed anything on this and they also did not cut the ticket prices. Balakrishna is yet to react to this and the complete details on the same would be out soon.
